Great News - Andy's Gas is set to reopen its retail center from Saturday 28th November 12pm

We recently closed our retail store, offering a Delivery Only service, due to a member of our administration team contracting covid-19. We closed the store to minimise any risks of spread, and hopefully contain the virus. We are delighted to report our staff member is safe and well and can now resume normal duties. No other persons have shown any symptoms or tested Positive. We will allow the full 14 days to pass before we reopen the store and commence with the Deep clean!

Our store will be open between 12pm - 5pm Monday - Saturday commencing Saturday 28th November.

May we remind our Customers and visitors, please do wear a mask when visiting us and please use the sanitising stations available.
Please DO NOT visit us if you or anyone of your household members are presenting with any covid-19 symptoms or have recently tested positive for covid-19. Please call us to arrange a contactless delivery on 0117 9074327.

ANDY'S GAS Retail Center will be closed with immediate effect.

Contactless deliveries will be the only option due to a Staff Member testing Positive for COVID-19.

The staff member does not work in our retail center and it does not effect any customers or visitors who recently visited our store. As a precaution we will be shutting our store to reduce contact with members of the public.

Our drivers will be operating mobile and will not enter our office space. Our office team will work from home and operate the phones, processing orders digitally.

The infected Staff member does not work with any products so be reassured cross contamination is not possible.

All products will be delivered, clean and contactlessly. Delivered by mobile staff who has not been in contact with infected persons.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. We are following Track & Trace guidance and will continue to provide reduced services safely and covid secure.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update with any changes. We will seek to reopen our store at 27th November. Please do continue to order your essential gases, arranging a delivery.

Andy’s Gas is reopening!!!

As of Monday 6th July 2020, we will be reopening our retail centre to the public.

We will be operating reduced hours of 12pm to 5pm Monday – Saturday. We will remain closed on Sunday.

Our telephone service will remain available from 8am – 6pm. Please continue to call to arrange your contactless delivery.

To help minimise the spread of COVID-19, we have temporarily reduced some services from our site. The following services  will therefore not be available:

                                                                  ·        LPG at the pump

                                                                  ·        Emergency Deliveries

                                                                  ·        Time Slots

                                                                  ·        Cash Payments

Upon arrival you will be greeted by a member of staff who will advise you what you should do next.

Please expect to queue to enter our store as we will have a strict 1 person in store at any one-time policy and you will be asked to sanitise your hands before entering.

Our team have all been trained on social distancing requirements and will maintain a 1m+ distance from others throughout their time on site. We respectfully request you also adhere to this protocol.

Please do not visit the store if you or any of your household members are presenting with:

                                                                    ·        Signs of a fever or a high temperature

                                                                    ·        New persistent cough or respiratory problems

                                                                    ·        Have had contact with any possible source of the virus

 If any of the above apply, please stay home and call to arrange a contactless delivery.

We have implemented all the above measures to maintain service levels with the health and safety of our people and our customers as our top priority.

The well being of our staff and customers has always been our number 1 priority.  This is of particular importance during this Coronavirus outbreak and we are working with all members of staff to ensure they conduct business operations that maintain their own and our customer's well being.  We have made a few changes to our normal working practice.

Distancing measures

Contactless Deliveries to Domestic settings

Large Cylinders or Cylinders for outdoor appliances

Most outdoor cylinders can be delivered and installed without the customer present. We would just require access and can call you to advise when we are on our way and when we have finished installation.

Although our cylinders will be clean on dispatch, we would advise the customer to wash hands after handling the cylinder(s).

If the customer wishes to be present during the delivery, we advise you to allow a minimum of 2 meters distance between yourself and our staff Member(s). We would ask this whether or not you or a family member are showing symptoms.

Cylinders for indoor use

If a cylinder is required to be installed inside a customer’s property, we would kindly ask for the 2-meter distance rule. Our staff will arrive and sanitise their hands before and after delivery also wiping surfaces they may have come into contact with within the property, using antibacterial wipes provided. The cylinders themselves will be cleaned on dispatch.

If you are a household self-isolating, we would kindly ask for you to advise the operator when ordering your cylinder so extra measures can be put in place.

If we are unable to keep safe distancing measures, then with regret we may abandon your delivery.

Deliveries to all Business premises

We would ask all businesses to have the cylinder disconnected ready for collection, leaving returning cylinders in a safe area for our drivers to collect. New cylinders will be left in replacement of the empty cylinder returned. We will not be delivering to any communal areas without the distancing measures in place.

Our cylinders will be cleaned on dispatch and the staff members hands will be sanitised.

Paying for you gas

For deliveries we ask you to pay for your gas when placing your order. For in-store purchases Card Only using contactless payment or chip & pin card. We except most major credit and debit cards with the exclusion of American Express. 

We will continue to monitor the situation and review any developments and potential changes. This includes assessing the effect the virus could have on any staff, operations and customers that rely on our service.

We will update our website and social media pages of any changes that may effect our operations.
